Your pin is initially set up as the last 4 digits of your library card number.
Adults can have 30 items on their card, temporary patrons and youth 20 items, and children 10 items.
HOW LONG CAN I KEEP THINGS?
You can keep books, magazines, and CDs for three weeks and DVDs for one week. Due dates may vary on items borrowed from other libraries.
NOT DONE? RENEW IT AND KEEP IT LONGER.
Material may be renewed one time unless it has been requested by another person. You can renew your items:
- online by signing into your account
- at the self-checkout station in the library
- by calling 907-772-3349
- by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
- when you visit the library
You can request up to 10 physical and 10 digital holds. Just log in, search for your item and click “Place a Hold.” You’ll be notified by email or phone when your items are ready for pick up. You'll have 7 days to pick up your hold(s).
Your account will be charged 5 cents for every day that an item is overdue. You will be charged the price of the item plus a processing fee if items are more than one month overdue. If the item is returned the item charges will be waived and only overdue fines will be charged. Once the charges on your account reach a total of $25.00 you will not be able to borrow any more items.
HOW DO I GET A CARD?
Register for a library card at the library's front desk. Identification and a local mailing address are required. Short term residents may be offered limited borrowing privileges in accordance with rules set by the library.
