LATE RETURNS

Petersburg Public Library cardholders are not charged fines on overdue material from our library. Cardholders from other Alaska Library Consortium libraries will be charged for overdue material at the rate set by the lending library.

All users will be charged the price of the item plus a processing fee if items are more than one month overdue. If the item is returned the item charges will be waived and only overdue fines will be charged. Once the charges on your account reach a total of $25.00 you will not be able to borrow any more items.

It's important to keep your account in good standing so come into to the library so we can help you with your account problems or login to your account and make a payment online.

HOW DO I GET A CARD?

Register for a library card at the library's front desk. Identification and a local mailing address are required. Short term residents may be offered limited borrowing privileges in accordance with rules set by the library.
