To offer resources and programs to stimulate your imagination and inspire you to explore your interests.
To have professional staff with current training and volunteers who exceed expectations.
To be a connection spot offering a comfortable, welcoming, safe community center.
To provide a collection of books and other media which is diverse, dynamic and responsive to your requests.
To address the changing technological needs of the community to equalize access and assist in developing skills.
To provide the access to information and the forum for discussion of topical issues to promote civic engagement
To offer support to job seekers, business owners, entrepreneurs and nonprofits.
Our Values
As part of our pursuit of the library’s mission we are committed to our Customer Service Values and realize that achieving customer service excellence depends on our ability to consistently deliver these five values in every customer interaction:
Customer first – We put our customers first, listen to every request with an open mind and always consider our customer's point of view first. We respect our customer's time and respond with a sense of urgency.
Convenience – We strive to provide a hassle-free experience for our customers, making it easy to understand the services, collections and other resources that we offer. We empower customers to take care of their own needs if they choose to.
Attitude – We have a genuine understanding, respect and concern for the needs of our customers. We cultivate a friendly, supportive environment for everyone in the library and a ‘can do’ attitude in every interaction. We connect with every customer and ensure their experience with the library is a good one.
Innovation – We continuously review our current practices and make improvements based on customer expectations and suggestions. We are always looking for better ways to make our customer's lives more convenient, simple and enjoyable.
