Prior to making an appointment you must:

have all application and identification materials in your possession before making an appointment.
Do not sign the application until requested to do so by the person administering the oath.
Payment to the Department of State is by check or money order only. Separate payment to the library for processing and handling may be made by credit, debit, cash, or money order.
