Share your talents with the community

Short term volunteers play music, present puppet shows, hang holiday lights, teach classes, and more. Contact the library's Program Coordinator, Kari Petersen, if you would like to share your talents. 

Become a regular volunteer

Regular volunteers help with janitorial, keeping the library grounds tidy, and working with library staff on special projects. Regular volunteers must be able to commit to an on-going schedule (weekly or monthly) for 3 months or longer. Contact Tara Alcock, Library Director, if you're interested in becoming a regular volunteer. 

Join the Friends of the Library

Other opportunities to volunteer are also available through the Friends of Petersburg's Libraries . The Friends conduct used book sales to raise funds for special materials and Library programs.
